Edwards Metro District will hold a regular board election on May 6th, 2025.
Five candidates have been nominated for two board positions: Incumbent Joanna Kerwin will be rerunning; Incumbent Tracy Erickson will not be rerunning. Sofia Fecchino, Bill Simmons, Daned Kirkham and Grant Smith will also be all running. The two candidates receiving the most votes will be elected.

Completed absentee ballots must be received by the election judge or designated election official by 7:00pm on election day, May 6th, 2025 to be counted.
We encourage voters to request an absentee ballot as soon as possible. Ballots will be mailed out upon receiving the absentee ballot request, giving voters time to fill out and mail back their ballots prior to the May 6th deadline.
Those wishing to vote in person will be able to do so at the Mountain Recreation Edwards Field House at 450 Miller Ranch Road from 7:00am - 7:00 p.m on May 6th, 2025. Voters may also drop their absentee ballots off at this location on election day.
To vote in a Special District Election, a person must be an Eligible Elector of such District. As defined in the Special District Act, an Eligible Elector is a person who is registered to vote in general elections in Colorado; and is either:
- A resident of the Special District; or
- A person (or spouse or civil union partner thereof) who owns taxable real or personal property in the District (whether or not such person resides within the District); or
- A person who is obligated to pay taxes under a Contract to Purchase taxable property.
